Hello and welcome,
My name is Rosie and this is my ‘spot’ for sharing all things smoothie!
I’ve been enjoying smoothies for several years now and know that they have been a key reason my health has improved. Before I found smoothies (I call it my ‘pre-smoothie’ life), I was always tired, struggling to get out of bed, totally unmotivated about anything and just felt yuck all the time.
A friend suggested I try juicing, which I did for a while. But then switched to smoothies to use a blender that had been sitting in the cupboard collecting dust.
For me they were easier to make, could use a lot more ingredients and I enjoyed the taste a lot more. From that point, smoothies have become a daily ritual. My kids and husband really enjoy them too and we love trying to come up with new ideas and recipes.
Friends and work colleagues are always asking what’s in my smoothie cup, so I decided to start noting down my recipes, tips and other smoothie advice.
So today, The Smoothie Spot is where I share my smoothie love. It’s a growing resource that I hope you find useful.
